Bayer ForwardFarming Farm Launch: Azienda Agricola Moranda
Bayer ForwardFarming Farm Launch:
Azienda Agricola Moranda
March 28, 2017, starting 11:00 a.m. CET
Bayer ForwardFarming is celebrating the official launch of our fifth ForwardFarm on March 28 in the famous area of DOC Valpolicella, Italy. The Azienda Agricola Moranda is run by the Capurso family. It is the first ForwardFarm to be established in Italy.
In the fertile area of DOC Valpolicella, the Capurso family produces wine varietals such as Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore and Amarone, also known as “The Great Bitter” because of the partially dried grapes that help give the wine its full body and rich flavor. The family strives to uphold the renowned legacy of the Veneto region wines by implementing modern farming techniques and respecting their surroundings.
Bayer ForwardFarming is an initiative that partners with selected farms to share knowledge and implement innovative agricultural practices to help ensure the farmers’ economic success as well as being socially and environmentally responsible.
