Farm Visit 2016 Standard
For the first time, Bayer CropScience and CEMA – European Agricultural Machinery are cooperating on a joint Farm Visit, showing opportunities and solutions that the latest farming technologies and machineries can bring to sustainable agriculture. Modern production techniques that deliver high yields, protect biodiversity and control pests, while increasing beneficial insects and pollinators and reduce erosion will be explained. Precision machinery, tractors, seeding machines, sprayers, cabine and driving simulators will be demonstrated.
Bayer & CEMA Farm Visits: Digital Farming in Practice
June 29 – July 1, 2016, starting 1:00 pm CEST
For a second time, the Bayer Brussels EU Liaison Office and CEMA have come together for a joint farm visit, to the Belgian Forward Farm, Hof ten Bosch, where this year the focus will be on digital farming. Taking place from Wednesday 29th June to Friday 1 July, this three day event for European politicians and regulators, will demonstrate under real operational conditions how digital technology is helping to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability. Visitors will see how decision-making software supports farmers at every stage of the growing season and the state of the art systems which are improving operator safety and environmental protection during spraying. Digital platforms for farmers will be demonstrated, which coordinate services from across the ag-food industry as well as the latest in precision farming equipment.
