Global forum for innovations in Agriculture Events

May 9-10, 2017, starting at 2:30 p.m. CET

We will be participating in and around the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA) and provide you with a live stream of the conversation around the event.

The GFIA is the world's largest showcase of sustainable agricultural innovations. It is a forum for stakeholders to discuss policy, strategy and solutions for a food-secure future, and hosts a large exhibition where the whole food value chain gets together. We are excited to participate in the debate via a variety of events related to several important Bayer Crop Science initiatives. These include our Food Chain Partnership, Digital Farming and ForwardFarming initiatives.

Tuesday, May 9, starting at 2:30 p.m. CET

Follow live updates from our Food Chain Partnership workshop “Joining hands to bring Innovation & Sustainability in Agriculture” to find out how Bayer is working together with value chain partners on ensuring innovation and sustainability in agriculture.

Wednesday, May 10, starting at 10:00 a.m. CET

Liam Condon, President of the Bayer Crop Science Division will deliver an address at GFIA as part of the “Visionaries shaping the future agriculture innovation landscape” session beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Later, beginning at 12:00 p.m., join us live at Bayer ForwardFarm Het Groene Hart to see how Digital Farming and other innovations are being implemented to advance sustainable agriculture. The farm is the fifth in a network of farms around the world and the first of its kind in the Netherlands.

Thursday, May 11, starting at 08:00 a.m. CET

Engage with participants on the technical tour of the Het Groene Hart farm, which is part of the GFIA conference agenda. Learn more about how Internet of Things technology is being implemented on the farm in order to become more sustainable and efficient.
